Magalhães, Nery e Dias – Advocacia is considered the largest and most established law firm specialised in competition law in Brazil. The firm has been headquartered in São Paulo for over 30 years, and has had a strategically located branch in Brasília for more than 15 years. It has 23 members, comprising lawyers and economists, of which at least 15 are exclusively dedicated to competition law. In addition, the firm is well known for its regular partnership with the most renowned economists and main economic consulting companies in Brazil.

Our law firm assists major corporations in important and complex cases filed either before regulatory authorities or in court. We also develop key consulting work with a view to preventing regulatory risks, and assist clients in the design of advertising campaigns, drafting of agreements, compliance programs, and modeling of corporate agreements, among others.

The firm is also known for the comprehensive expertise of its lawyers in civil law, consumer law, commercial law (dumping), unfair competition, and intellectual property. We assist clients both in court litigation and administrative procedures before administrative agencies incumbent on the protection of diffuse and collective rights. Moreover, our senior lawyers act regularly in important arbitration procedures involving national and international commercial disputes and in international trade procedures.
