Cosan-Shell's US$12 billion JV closes after 'sleepless nights'

Brazilian sugar producer Cosan’s US$12 billion joint venture with Shell closed yesterday, after “a tremendous amount of work,” which in its last month had taken up the entire capacity of Cosan’s M&A lawyers, says one member of the in-house team.
