Tim Jones, the managing partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP's London office and a speaker at next week's Latin Lawyer Project Finance and Infrastructure Conference, says that the decision to use wholly public financing for the London 2012 Olympic Games "has ensured the preparation has survived the market crash unscathed".
