Brazil votes on stricter rules on international associations

The Brazilian bar association (OAB) is considering new rules to significantly restrict the scope of associations between international and local law firms, with the bar president, Ophir Cavalcanti, admitting that at this stage the chances of the market being opened for international law firms are virtually nil.
