His active international practice has included work on matters involving Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, El Salvador, England, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Mexico, Nicaragua, Oman, Panama, Peru, Spain and Venezuela. An experienced trial advocate, Mr Wood is an elected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, has been named as one of the top energy attorneys in Texas by Chambers USA, and is listed as a Texas Super Lawyer by Law and Politics and the publishers of Texas Monthly. He has represented parties in AAA, ICDR, ICC and LCIA administered proceedings. He is a frequent speaker on legal issues related to the energy industry and on cross-border litigation. Mr Wood was born in Guatemala and is fluent in Spanish.
