Rocio Liu

Mrs Liu’s practice focuses on taxation and customs law. She joined the firm in 2003, after ten years with Estudio Hernández, and was made partner in 2006. She currently leads the tax department.

She has extensive experience advising on tax matters in all sorts of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, concessions and cross-border complex financings. She also represents clients in tax litigation.

Mrs Liu received a JD Degree from Universidad Catolica del Peru in 1994, and is a candidate for a Master Degree in Business Law at Universidad de Lima.

She is a professor of Tax Law in the graduate and master programmes at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. She has also participated as a lecturer in several seminars and in training courses for the officers and personnel of the Peruvian Tax Administration and courts. Her native language is Spanish, and she is fluent in English.
