Bernardo P Cárdenas M studied law at the Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Bogotá and obtained an LLM at New York University. Mr Cárdenas worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s New York office and has been a partner at the firm for over 20 years. His fields of expertise involve the areas of mergers and acquisitions, project finance, banking and mining law. Throughout the years Mr Cárdenas has advised many multinational companies doing business in Colombia as well as many foreign banking institutions that have financed projects in Colombia in the oil and gas, mining and the electric sector, among other areas.
