Melissa, a partner based in our New York office, is co-head of our Latin America practice and a member of our finance group. Melissa represents commercial banks, export credit agencies and private equity funds in a variety of financing and corporate transactions. She has considerable experience in domestic and Latin American transactions, including projects in the US, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela. Her sector experience includes power, mining, oil and gas, wastewater and telecoms.

Melissa received her BA, magna cum laude, from Columbia College, where in her junior year she was elected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her JD from The Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar and a senior editor of the Columbia Law Review. Melissa is fluent in Spanish and has working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.
