Paulo Valois Pires’ practice involves the representation of clients in oil and gas, energy, shipbuilding, offshore supply, platform and pipeline finance and construction, M&A, infrastructure domestic and international transactions and tax matters. He started his career as in-house counsel for Shell Brazil (1989) and worked at Ulhôa Canto, Rezende e Guerra - Advogados (1993 to April 2007), where he was made partner and head of the oil and gas practice group (2001). He has a Certificat des Hautes Études Européennes from Université Robert Schuman, Strasbourg (1992) and an International Law Master Degree from USP (1999).
