José Luis Suárez Parra

Jose Luis is co-director of the Banking & Finance strategic business unit and member of the M&A group. He graduated from Universidad de los Andes and has a graduate degree on Financial Law from the same university and a LLM from Harvard University. With more than 19 years of professional experience, he represents local and international companies and banks on capital markets transactions, privatizations, debt and equity offerings, securitization transactions and other complex financing deals. He has led various M&A transactions, Ecopetrol’s and Isagen’s initial public offerings and the structured note offering carried out by Bancolombia in the international capitals market.
