Humberto Pacheco A

Humberto Pacheco A, MCL, senior partner, is a major league international asset planning expert, listed as ‘star performer’ (Chambers and Partners 2008, 2009, 2010) specialising in international corporate, tax and estate planning. He is a member of the Costa Rican Bar Association, International Fiscal Association, International Bar Association, Inter American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Chairman of the dispute settlement committee, the sixth Business Forum of the Americas, Buenos Aires (2001); chairman of the investment committee, the fifth Business Forum of the Americas, Toronto (1999); private sector coordinator for President Clinton’s visit to Costa Rica (1997); chairman of the investment committee, the third Business Forum of the Americas, Belo Horizonte (1997); adviser to the president of Costa Rica (1974-1978); member of the President’s Special Advisory Commission on Foreign Investment (1975-1976). Founder and past president of the Costarican American Chamber of Commerce(1972, 1995, 1996). He has lectured worldwide at tax and business conferences of the foremost international organisations and writes for renowned business and legal publications.
