Fernando Vargas W

Fernando Vargas W, LLM, specialises in business and corporate law, with proficiency in mergers, acquisitions and complex business transactions. He is also central in the real estate division, having handled the financing, acquisition and subsequent development of numerous projects. Mr Vargas is a member of the Costa Rican Bar Association, International Bar Association, and the Costa Rican American Chamber of Commerce Legal Affairs Committee. Publications: ‘Costa Rica’, (co authored with Humberto Pacheco A, MCL, Spitz Tax Haven Encyclopaedia, (1997-2007). Education: Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica (Law degree, 1995); Georgetown University Law Center (LLM, 1998). Mr Vargas is recognised for his expertise by Marquis Who’s Who Legal as one of three Costa Rican specialists in mergers and acquisitions (2009).
