Jorge Luis Arenales

Partner at Arias & Muñoz since 1998. He is head of the corporate, telecommunications and litigation department in the Guatemalan office. He has advised local and international companies in complex corporate transactions that cover all the areas of private, public and business law. Jorge Luis constantly advises the firm’s customers in the organisation, operation and finance of their activities.

Jorge Luis has a Juris Doctor Degree from the Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Guatemala (1998) and he is authorised as a practising attorney and notary public by the Supreme Court of Justice of Guatemala. He attended the Program of Negotiation for Lawyers (PIL) at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Mass in 2003. LLM with honours from The Northwestern University School of Law (Chicago, 2009). Certificate in Business Administration of Instituto de Empresa (Madrid, 2009).
