He has a LLM with honors of The Northwestern University School of Law (Chicago,) and a Certificate in Business Administration of Instituto de Empresa (Madrid). He attended the Program of Negotiation for Lawyers (PIL) at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Mass in 2003; and has a Juris Doctor Degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquín, Guatemala (1998).
