Christopher Erckert has an active practice representing lenders and borrowers in corporate financings, project financings, and other financing and restructuring transactions. Christopher’s practice includes a particular emphasis on energy and infrastructure-related work. His experience within the power sector includes generation (including renewable), transmission and distribution. He also provides counsel on a wide variety of other infrastructure and industrial matters, including LNG facilities, gas pipelines, water treatment facilities, transport infrastructure, and manufacturing facilities. Christopher has extensive experience in Latin America, where his fluency in Portuguese and Spanish enables him to negotiate and review contracts in multiple languages. Christopher has led many of the most innovative transactions --including numerous “deals of the year”--in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Nicaragua, the United States and elsewhere around the region and the globe.
