William L Banowsky

William L Banowsky is a partner in the trial practice group in the firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on complex business litigation and arbitration, securities litigation, and corporate governance investigations, as well as environmental and land use litigation. Mr Banowsky’s expertise includes the representation of energy-industry clients in various disputes, including clients outside the US. He has also represented audit committees in Sarbanes-Oxley investigations involving conduct occurring in Bolivia, Brazil, Nigeria, Iraq and China. Mr Banowsky received a JD, cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1983 and a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University in 1980. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
