John R Cohn

John R Cohn is a partner in the tax and international energy practice groups in the firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on assisting foreign entities doing business in the US; structuring plans for US clients to expand business internationally; and representing multinational corporations, small businesses and individuals in developing tax-efficient business structures. Mr Cohn’s expertise includes tax and transactional representation in Latin American, African and Asian energy projects. He received a Masters from Queen Mary’s College at the University of London in 1989; a JD, with high honours, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1988; and a BBA, with highest honours, from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984.
