W Christopher Schaeper

W Christopher Schaeper is a partner in the corporate and securities practice group in the firm’s Houston office. He provides counsel in mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions of private and public entities; venture capital and related investment transactions (institutional and private); and public and private placements of equity and debt securities. He also counsels clients in public securities compliance and secured and unsecured financings at senior, subordinated, mezzanine and angel levels. In addition, Mr Schaeper provides representation in contract preparation and negotiation, labour and employment, and related matters. He received a JD from The University of Texas School of Law in 1984 and a BA in Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1981.
