Bruce S Sostek is a partner in the firm’s Dallas office and is the co-leader of intellectual property practice group. He focuses his practice on intellectual property, complex commercial litigation, technology, and business counseling, primarily in the areas of computer hardware, software, telecommunications, the internet, sports, media and entertainment law. He has tried cases involving patent, trademark, or copyright infringement; theft of trade secrets; unfair competition; and other intellectual property concerns in federal courts throughout the country and at the International Trade Commission. Mr Sostek counsels clients on the identification, valuation, licensing and litigation of intellectual property assets and on how to use intellectual property to advance strategic business objectives. He received a JD from Emory University School of Law in 1981, an MA from State University of New York at Albany in 1977, and a BA in Political Science and Philosophy, cum laude, from Union College in 1975.
