Daniel Del Río

Daniel Del Río is the head of the corporate/M&A practice group of Basham, Ringe and Correa, SC, the oldest and one of the largest full service law firms in Mexico. Areas of professional practice are corporate, M&A, foreign investment, international and financial transactions, joint-ventures, real estate, antitrust, banking securities and insurance.

He graduated from the Universidad La Salle and was admitted to practise in Mexico in 1980. His postgraduate studies include a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Tulane University, New Orleans, US.

Mr Del Río has been recognised by Chamber’s Global as one of the leading attorneys in Mexico for M&A for the past two years, and by The International Who’s Who of Merger and Acquisition Lawyers, in 2007 and 2008.

He is co-chair of the Latin American forum and council member of the section of the legal practice division of the International Bar Association.
