Master of Laws from Harvard Law School, Mass. (1995). Juris Doctor degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Centro America, San Jose, Costa Rica and is admitted to the bar in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, authorised as a notary public in Nicaragua.
