Juan Manuel Albacete, partner, born in 1960, mainly concentrates in the corporate, banking and tax areas. He is assistant professor of tax law at the University of Uruguay, School of Law. His extensive experience in taxation, competitive bids and financing transactions has led him to participate in an advisory capacity in the most important calls made by the state (including privatisations), advising in bond offerings, financial and investment structuring, trusts, advising pension and investment funds and bank transactions in general. He is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), as well as of the board of the Uruguayan Institute of Tax Studies. He has written various articles on his specialty.
