Eduardo Ameglio, partner, born in 1952, mainly concentrates on labour and litigation. He has extensive experience in labour and social security practice, negotiation and group settlement and labour conflicts solutions. He is professor of labour law and social security at various universities in the country and author of various publications in his specialty. He is external consultant for the International Labour Organization in various cooperation projects, among others, with the Labour Ministry of Chile, in the elaboration of a law project on labour sub-agreements (from 1998 to 1999) and was recently hired by all Uruguayan financial entities to represent them in the collective bargaining agreement negotiations with the banking union and the government. He is a former president of the Uruguayan Association of Labour Law and Social Security and a member of the editorial committee of the Labour Law Magazine.
