Nicolás Piaggio

Nicolás Piaggio, partner, born in 1969, mainly concentrates in the banking and corporate areas. He obtained a Masters in Corporate Law from the University of Montevideo (2000) and is assistant professor of Banking Law at the same university. His experience includes the participation in financing transactions and debt restructurings, sovereign debt transactions (including a direct participation in the 5 billion Uruguayan pesos successful 2003, 2007 and 2008 sovereign debt exchange), financial trust, public and private securities offers, bank transactions in general and mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the International Bar Association and a former member of the editorial board of the law magazine of the Students Law Centre.
