Gerardo Porteiro

Gerardo Porteiro, partner, born in 1956, mainly concentrates in the banking and corporate areas. He was an adviser to the Ministry of Economy and Finance from 1990 to 1992. He advises private and pension funds, trust managers, banks and other local and foreign financial entities on financial and regulatory matters. His vast practice includes local and international financial transactions both in the public and private sectors, public and private securities offers, bank transactions in general as well as corporate law. He has been a member of the Alumni Association of the Academy of American and International Law (Dallas, Texas) since 1993.
