William Araque is Co-Director of the Dispute Resolution and Investment Protection Group of Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta and coordinates the litigation team of the firm. Mr. Araque has been counsel in litigation and arbitration in a significant number of cases in matters related to real estate, construction, lease contracts, credit instruments, contracts of carriage, group and class actions, commercial agency claims, consumer rights' protection and, generally, contractual and tort liability. Mr. Araque graduated from the Universidad Libre de Colombia (Bogotá) and holds a degree in litigation. Before joining the firm, Mr. Araque worked in the Litigation Department of Baker & Mckenzie in Bogotá, as well as in the Colombian judiciary. He has been consistently recommended by Chambers & Partners as one of Colombia's top dispute resolution attorneys.
