Mr. Hugo Cuesta joined Cuesta Campos in 1986. He has focused his practice in international business transactions. His extensive corporate background, comprises foreign investment, merger and acquisitions, real estate, finance and banking, business and corporate law.

Mr. Cuesta has acted as Lead Mexican Counsel in several international projects and business transactions, advising multinationals on their legal, corporate and finance structure in Mexico. This ranges from corporate structures to financing arrangements representing foreign banks. He has counseled more than 100 Mexican subsidiaries of foreign entities, representing them on their investment projects, and advising them on their legal needs in Mexico. He has ample experience counseling leading multinationals operating in Mexico.

Mr. Cuesta is Vice chair of Meritas Law Firms Worldwide, and of the American Chamber of Commerce (Guadalajara). He also serves as member of the board of various multinationals and of non-profit organizations.
