Diego Viana Martorell

Diego Viana Martorell is senior partner in the firm. He specializes in Labor & Employment Law, Mining Law and Administrative Law. Graduated from the University of Uruguay, School of Law in 1983, obtained a degree in Business Law at the Uruguayan Institute of Business Studies in 1987. Member of the Labor and Social Security Law Research Institute of the University of Uruguay, of the Uruguayan Association of Labor Relations and of the Uruguayan Association of Labor and Social Security. He was Director of the Mining and Geology Division of the Ministry of Industries between 1992 and 1994. He is very active in negotiations with the banking union, collective bargaining and outsourcing matters, and his practice also embraces all kinds of labor disputes and settlements.
