Chemical engineer and industrial property agent. Counsels clients and manages patents, industrial designs and PVP portfolios in Brazil and overseas, including planning and implementing effective strategies for building, protecting and enforcing intellectual property assets. Prepares freedom to operate analysis and renders opinions on patent validity and infringement.

Co-Chair of the Biotechnology Committee of the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property (ABPI) and Vice-Chair of the Committee on Access to Genetic Resources and Associated Traditional Knowledge of Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO).

Founding partner of Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Propriedade Intelectual in 2008, which resulted from the merger of I the intellectual property practices of Carminatti Schulz and Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão.
