Rubén Eduardo Luján is a partner of the Caracas office of Norton Rose. He holds a law degree cum laude from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Caracas, Venezuela, and a Master of Law degree from The University of Michigan Law School, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Rubén Eduardo has been engaged in the area of finance, including energy finance, in Venezuela for over 13 years. Rubén Eduardo has co-lead and assisted on complex cross-border financing structures for the oil & gas and mining industries in Venezuela, including financings to Venezuelan project companies by multilateral agencies, development banks and/or international banks, and innovative schemes of financing for Venezuelan state entities involving future oil production as collateral for the financing. Rubén Eduardo is a Director of the Venezuelan Canadian Chamber of Commerce. He has been a recommended legal practitioner for Venezuela on banking and finance by Chambers Latin America for 2010 and 2011.
