Ricardo Vargas heads our off-shore and estate planning practice area and advises as counsel on corporate labor matters, having counseled several local and international companies as head counsel. Ricardo's experience includes litigation, tax issues, trusts, and complex notary transactions.

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica (1995), concluded the Tax Masters program offered by Universidad de Cooperación Internacional (1997), and has participated in several local and international seminars on various legal topics. Mr. Vargas is a member of the Costa Rican Bar Association, International Bar Association (IBA), and the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA). Ricardo is married and father of Ignacio, Valeria and Isabella.
