Three months later, left-leaning Ollanta Humala won the country's presidential election and all at once the future of the country and its legal market became far less certain. A guide to social media published by the Meritas law network has revealed that the majority of its member firms are still not using social media – with almost 90 per cent expressing concerns of "inappropriate usage" of the platforms by attorneys and staff.
