Carey y Cía and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP have helped Chilean copper producer Codelco enter into an agreement to receive debt financing from Japanese trading house Mitsui & Co. Codelco plans to use the short-term loan facility in order to acquire interest in a copper mine owned by Anglo American.
